Fashion Market

Fashion Week is one of the most exciting events in the fashion industry, as it serves as a platform to showcase upcoming trends, styles, and collections. Whether you’re a fashion designer or just someone who loves to keep up with the latest trends, knowing when each city’s fashion week takes place is key. (And everyone wants New York Fashion Week dates and Paris Fashion Week dates as soon as possible.) Let’s explore the major cities around the world hosting these fabulous events.

New York City (NYFW)

The granddaddy of them all, New York Fashion Week dates fall in February and September. This event is typically held in Manhattan (other boroughs as well, but less so) and offers up a variety of shows featuring both established designers and up-and-coming talents from around the world.

London (LFW)

The British capital does not disappoint when it comes to hosting fashionable events either. Each season, London Fashion Week’s dates put it right after New York, with LFW’s events often held at 180 The Strand in Covent Garden. LFW usually showcases an eclectic mix of established designers such as Burberry Prorsum and Vivienne Westwood, but also prides itself on being a launching pad for young talent.

Milan (MFW)

Milan is another major player on the international fashion scene with its own version of fashion week taking place after London at various locations throughout Milan’s historic center. As with other venues around Europe, MFW is home to both well-known luxury labels such as Versace & Gucci perhaps even more so than other cities – but also plays host to emerging designers who are looking for their big break!

Paris (PFW)

Paris Fashion Week dates come at the end, after Milan, with shows often held at the Grand Palais and Palais de Tokyo. The event always brings out some of the biggest names like Chanel, Dior, Givenchy, Balmain and Chloe — to name just a few — so you can expect plenty of high style glamour throughout this week-long celebration of fashion! Also, remember that Paris Fashion Week dates for ready-to-wear are not the same as those for haute couture. Learning when both Paris Fashion Week dates take place is important.

Other Fashion Capitals

As you might expect, there are many more fashion weeks around the world, each vying in their own way to be the “Big 5.” These include everything from Copenhagen Fashion Week, Amsterdam Fashion Week, Taipei Fashion Week to Vancouver Fashion Week, Dubai’s Arab Fashion Week, LA Fashion Week, 080 Barcelona, Fashion Week Tokyo, Moda Lisboa, and many, many more.
